6 out of 10 of the top 10 'Trending' pages are about AI - seriously fuck off.

I got shadow banned... amazing. I write dull drivel about local history and no one reads it. I write something people actually read and I get shadow banned. Not really sure what to do here.

Where the hell did a week go!? So my rage previously was directed at the Cloudflare 'prove you're human' loop which apparently affects lots of people. Have they fixed it - nahh rather just annoy people. What we're doing is building an internet for bots, whilst also making it as hard as possible for actual humans. Add in meta (yeah I know) asking if I can see specifically American things I'm not familiar with in an image about 10 pixels high to 'prove' I'm a human. Outstanding. I'm an angry human who shockingly live outside the US of A - please can I use the internet.

Pulled to post called 'I'm a fu**ing human' as can now login to Bear again. Seriously though - fuck off - I'm so sick of fucking AI. I'm a human what does it actually need to know to prove that fact. Although I think this is more to do with location data and browser fingerprinting. If I can get thoughts in order there may be a larger post on this as it also ties into my day job a little. Anyway - no post tonight as I'm fucking angry and back to looking at self hosting again.

Bearblog which hosts this masterpiece has added a Code of conduct link to its [Trending](https://bearblog.dev/discover/). I'm assuming due to a couple of the top articles and one which got shadowbanned about blogging and bloggers here. I make no comment on that, but I dislike censorship intensely so the idea of shadowbanning people makes me very uncomfortable.

My retired neighbour is hoovering his roof - I obviously won't ever get to retire, but in the unlikely event I do, and I'm active enough, I won't ever be so bored that I hoover my roof at 8pm

After reading far too much about fonts, the blog is now using Atkinson Hyperlegible Next font so should be even more readable. All I need now is readers....

Its approximately 5million degrees in my house. I'm so fucking sick of this summer I can't even begin to articulate. British politics has become even more ridiculous. One of my neighbours has decided literally 12 noon on one of the hottest days of the year is the time to mow his lawn. I'm wondering if I want to go for a walk to try to find a rusty metal road block from WWII

250 years ago some folks declared the self evident truth that all men (never mind women and those other folks who only warranted 3/5ths) are created equal. The wanted freedom from a British crown where 1 man controlled everything. They put in place 3 branches of government so no one man had overall control. Checks and balances. Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Hows that working for you folks? Still... better than the UK I think.

I'm now getting the same amount of visitors via Bubbles as I am via Bear. I feel this is somehow significant. With Bubbles allowing people to much more easily read what they are interested in and Bear simply fixating on mutual erm... sharing.
